We’re excited to share that Senate Joint Resolution 1 (SJR 1) has passed in the Tennessee Senate!

 

This resolution moves us one step closer to placing a constitutional amendment on the ballot to ban the state from ever imposing a tax on real property—a major win for Tennessee property owners.

 

Thanks to your advocacy, this important measure is moving forward. Tennessee REALTORS® made their voices heard, and lawmakers listened.

 

SJR 1 now heads to the House, and we’ll continue to keep you informed.
