The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) has announced two significant updates to its mortgage programs. The two changes include: 

1. Expanded eligibility for the agency's popular Homeownership for Heroes program.
   
   One of the most notable updates is the expansion of THDA’s Great Choice Homeownership for Heroes mortgage program to include all ACTIVE TEACHERS across Tennessee. Previously available to select community service professions, the program offers a reduced interest rate through the Great Choice Mortgage initiative!
   
   
2. Statewide increase in acquisition cost limits for THDA mortgage products.
   
   NOW the maximum acquisition cost has been raised to $500,000 in all 95 Tennessee counties - a 25% increase over prior limits!
